In 1965, Nicholas J. Stephanou graduated from the University of Oklahoma, then joined the Navy, serving from 1966 to 1969. After his residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, Dr. Stephanou began practicing obstetrics and pelvic reconstructive surgery in 1974.
Throughout the years, Dr. Stephanou has helped hundred of mothers sucessfully birth their children and continues the practice of obstetrics today.
As a member of the Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeons, Dr. Stephanou is also committed to helping women with thier gynecological and vaginal care issues. Dr. Stephanou specializes in vaginal reconstructive surgery, with an emphasis on vaginal versus abdominal hysterectomies, which provides women a much less invasive option and quicker recovery path. |
